Editing Transcripts and Notes
Review the transcript, correct important wording, then refine the clinical note with the editor and AI tools.
Review before relying on output
AI transcription is fast, but final responsibility remains with the clinician or researcher. Check names, numbers, medication doses, diagnoses, quotes, and abbreviations before copying or exporting. Use the audio scrubber to play back any segment you are unsure about — click a timestamp to jump to that moment.
Working in the transcript view
- Click any speaker label (e.g. Doctor, Patient) to rename it across the transcript.
- Use Grouped view to see one block per speaker turn, or Individual view for fine-grained editing.
- Use the search/find icon to jump to a word or phrase in long transcripts.
- Adjust playback speed (0.5×–2×) when reviewing audio against the text.
Editing the clinical note
- Switch between Transcript and Clinical Notes using the header switcher above the visit.
- Each generated section has Edit, Regenerate, and Copy buttons — Regenerate is useful after you fix the transcript.
- Drag the small handle to reorder sections so the note matches your house style.
- Use AI writing tools for expansion, summarising, rewriting, or improving language without changing facts.
- Mark the visit as approved when you are done so collaborators know it is finalised.
