Copying, Saving, and Exporting Documents

Move finished notes into your EHR or share research materials by copying, saving, downloading, or exporting from the relevant workspace.

Copying, Saving, and Exporting Documents

Copying or exporting from a visit

Docdemic does not require a direct EHR integration. From Clinical Notes, the easiest path is to use the Copy button on each generated section and paste it into your EHR. For a full file, use the Export action in the visit toolbar to download the transcript or notes — then upload or attach the file in the system your clinic already uses.

Saved files and Library

Saved documents, exported drafts, and Smart Editor files appear in Library, where you can search, filter, reopen, or download them later. Toggle the view between document tiles and the long-form editor depending on what you need.

  • Always check ownership and patient/workplace context before sharing files outside your usual workflow.
  • Remove patient identifiers from filenames if the file may leave the workspace (email attachment, supervisor review, etc.).

Research exports

Inside an Interview study or Systematic review, the Export tab packages study-specific deliverables: transcripts, codebooks, comparison matrices, screening logs, evidence tables, and write-up drafts. Use these for supervisors, ethics submissions, manuscripts, and appendices.
